Our Story

Welcome to Students Community Table, a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping individuals in pursuit of an education. Our mission is to reduce the cost of educational goods while promoting sustainable practices and community collaboration.

Founded in 2022, our organization was born out of a desire to make education more accessible and sustainable. We recognized that the cost of educational materials such as textbooks and other resources can be prohibitively high for many students, and that this often results in waste when these items are discarded or left unused. We decided to take action to address these issues by creating Students Community Table.

Our organization is run by a team of passionate volunteers who are committed to our mission. We operate on a not-for-profit basis and rely on donations and volunteer efforts to keep our services running.

At Students Community Table, we offer three distinct services to support the educational community and promote sustainable practices. Our reselling service for educational items such as books makes learning more accessible and affordable by selling previously-owned textbooks and other educational materials at affordable prices. Our donations program allows us to accept new or gently used educational materials, which we use to supplement our existing inventory and provide even more resources to students. Finally, our resource sharing website promotes collaboration and community within the educational space by allowing students to share resources like notes, study guides, worksheets, and more.

We believe that everyone should have access to education and that sustainability is a shared responsibility. Through our services and programs, we hope to create a more equitable and sustainable educational landscape.
